July 2026 – Elder’s Message

Dear fellow members,

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

At a time when we as a nation celebrate 250 years of independence, do we question our future? As synod, congregation or person do we question where we are going? God’s grace and mercy from our prayers have been answered to all adversity according to his will and strength! In the beautiful words from a Christian Hymn, “For his eyes are on the sparrow and I know he watches me.” At times we question his will but it is always for our spiritual wellness and good.

We pray these words will give each and every one of us the courage and faith to face what is in our future., May you find comfort in knowing God is with you wherever you go.
