“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Net worth is the term used to describe the total value of a person’s assets minus any liabilities. So what is your “net worth”?
There’s a big difference in the way that our world generally defines success and the way that God defines success. Success in the world’s definition means having much material wealth, power, and toys. Having those things means you are “successful.”
And it’s so easy for us to fall into that trap. “If only I have this…” “If only I made this much…” “If only…” THEN I’ll be successful! But is our success really determined by our physical “net worth”?
Not to God. God says you are successful and couldn’t be any more successful…right now! Why so? Because HE has made you rich beyond compare! God spent the blood of His own Son to purchase and win you! Jesus died and rose so that your sins are forgiven! God has gifted you with life eternal with Him forever in paradise!
What is it worth to have peace with God, God’s protection, God’s love, God’s providing care, God’s presence, a life with God forever?  Why it’s priceless!
And God’s given it to you! That makes you priceless! That makes you successful no matter your “net worth,” God says so!
Enjoying eternal riches, just like you,
pastor
